I have watched Dani Pedrosa's races since his first 125cc world championship season. He's got a 125cc world champ crown and a couple of 250cc world champ crown. A lot of people say that he's not ready to step up to motoGP this year. He's so small to move up right now.

But I have every confidence that he'll give the current motoGP stars a run for their money if he does. The factory Honda gave him a chance. And on his first race, finished 2nd. He gave Loris Capirossi of Ducati a work out and have to push to make sure he doesn't give up his position. He even have already won a race, the Chinese motoGP.

A win and several podium finishes later, he's now at 2nd in the motoGP championship. Behind team mate Nicky Hayden. The couple of falls didn't do Pedrosa any good as he could have been very close to Hayden in the points. He is 42 points behind his team mate. Now a Hayden DNF and Pedrosa win at the race at Donington park later will make the rest of the season more interesting.

Results are out. Pedrosa has indeed completed a fantastic weekend. Being fastest in practice and took pole, he finished it off with a win. Hayden was able to score valuable points though. Pedrosa can still win the championship. He just needs some wins and stay consistently ahead of Hayden. Good luck to them both.
