Land travel distance to Batangas pier:
100 kms from makati.
Via SLEX then Star Tollway

Park and Sail. A parking area where you can park your vehicle overnight as you sail away to puerto galera. I don't know if the facility still existed, but upon entry to the port area, guards said that overnight parking is full. Then they will escort you to a private house parking area and will charge a massive 400 pesos overnight parking. Wow! I always thought guards are there to maintain order. But now, they've stooped down to the level of policemen and became racketeers as well.

Batangas pier to Puerto galera: 170 pesos + 10 pesos terminal fee.
Batangas pier now have an X-ray machine for your baggages. But it's only one so picking up your baggage on the other end are at times chaotic.

Transient house. Another problem area when going to Puerto Galera. We got one at 4,500 pesos. It has 2 bedrooms with 2 beds each and another double decker at the sala with cable TV and ref. You'll have to walk about 200 meters to get to the beach. We were even lucky at that as others got houses so far away that they have to take a tricycle to get to the beach.

Boat ride to coral garden (snorkelling area): 700 pesos. Sharing with another group. 1,200 for exclusive use.
Beach shoes rent: 50 pesos

Boat ride from Puerto Galera (White beach) to Batangas pier: 180 pesos.
