Fernando Alonso to McLaren in 2007!
In a surprise, Montoyaesque fashion, very early announcement, current F1 World Champ Fernando Alonso will be driving for McLaren in 2007.

World Rally Championship
Citroen, Peugeot, Skoda and Mitsubishi has all pulled-out of the 2006 WRC (World Rally Championship) campaign. It was just Ford and the private teams which are left. Too bad, I'm not sure how good the championship will be next year. I'm sure it will still be exciting but not as exciting as the factory teams trying to beat each other for the top spot.

Finally, PLUG has come to its senses and re-unified the mailing list to just one. Failing to keep up with the times, PLUG did not evolve to a threaded forums and still use the "old" mailing list technology. It's alright but the problem is ... because some think that the volume of email is getting out of hand, several sub-lists are created. For newbies, for the org, for OT and for the gurus. Now the bigger problem is that a big chunk of email falls on the wrong list. And an even bigger chunk of the message is something like "Hey ID10T, this is the wrong list".
