This is how I see the 2006 F1 seating arrangement so far. I've put in some comments. Enjoy.
Renault:
Alonso
Fisichella
I don't know who else should be put alongside Fernando Alonso. This is his second chance.
I hope he proves himself next year, otherwise, he's really overrated before or renault
plays favorites.
McLaren:
Kimi Raikonnen
Juan Pablo Montoya
Let the battle continue. Let's find out if McLaren runs their team mates a'la Ferrari where there's a number
one and a number two driver. I just hope JPM have no excuses this time. Such as the "odd" shoulder injury
sustained while playing "tennis".
Ferrari:
Michael Schumacher
I believe he's still got what it takes. There's no need to stop. As it is right now, I don't think
he'd take a Damon Hill like dive down on performance.
Felipe Massa
He's beaten Jacques Villenueve. Let's see how close he can get to the F1's greatest driver.
Toyota:
Jarno Trulli
Ralph Schumacher
Both drivers did great at Toyota and lifted the team up the ranks. I hope next year they'll
"really" challenge the front runners. Not ... qualify up there then hold everybody up.
Williams:
Mark Webber
Let's see if Webber does improve his race craft. Right now he just qualifies good then fall back
during the races.
Jenson Button
I think Jenson should honor his Williams contract despite the Williams team losing the BMW engine on the
back of its cars. It's just too bad he has to do these driver seat mumbo jumbo two years in a row.
2007 is a leap into the unknown anyway with the new engine regulations.
RedBull:
Coulthard
Klien
BAR:
Rubens Barichello
Jordan:
Minardi:
BMW:
Nick Heidfled
