Hats off to Marcus Gronholm (Peugeot WRC). During Rally Mexico, instead of listening to his team boss to slow down and take it easy, he kept his foot down on the gas pedal in a quest to topple race leader, Peter Solberg (Subaru Impreza). Though he failed to do so, it was still a good try.

He went off at the last rally (Rally Finland) while fighting for the lead causing his team boss to reproach him for taking unnecessary risks. But this is racing. Racers don't settle for second best. Marcus knows he can win. It's too bad that he crashed out, but it's great that he didn't want to settle for second.
